Last night at the church. We went over lesson three int the 24/7 Dad training. As men we dealt with the wrong way and right way to handle emotions. We discussed how grief and loss takes different forms. Dealing with it in a healthy manner is important. One person said he used to throw things when he was angry but that that was not the right thing to do. The tools we gave instilled options to combat outbursts like that and more.
One person said that if he can change how he deals with his family he could help others change as well. Another said they were thankful that we would take time out of our lives to be involved in theirs. They said we were friends for forever and they thought the training would affect generations.
We all hugged and thank each other for helping us all go through the lesson. With the help of my wife’s translation skills to give breakout suggestions in email the Pastor will finish up the AM series within the next 3 weeks. At their request of Pastor Berman we hope to come back and do the PM series next year and bring some women to go through the women’s workshop that accompanies this one.
